Last Saturday my netball team (TAS Originalz) played another team (TAS Pythons.) When we arrived atW the netball courts we warmed up and then it was all on! The wistle blew and the first quarter began. At first we got a goal then they got a goal etc… Then they got a few in a row and they were in the lead. When the first quarter finished we all came off a bit annoyed. We had a team talk ten we were back on, we got a few goals but they were still winning. When it came to the fourth quarter we decided to really try and beat them. I was off for this quarter so I got to watch it was so close but in the end the score was 16 -15 … to us! We were so happy because we had to win this game so that we still have a chance of comin first in the compition. Yahh hopefully we win next week too. =)
Totara Springs Band Camp!
•May 14, 2009 • Leave a CommentOn Monday the 11th of May, the Choir and the Band went to Totara Springs for camp. When we arrived we went to our cabins and settled in then we went and had lunch. After lunch we went and had our first rehearsal and then we had some free time. In our free time we could either stay in our cabins, go on the lullaby, swim in the heated pool or play on the round-a-bout which was a big thing that spun around and you have to jump on and off. Another rehearsal was next then dinner. After our last rehearsal of the day, we went to our cabins and got ready for bed. We hung around outside for a while then lights were out. Nearly everyone didn’t go to sleep, but my cabin was the worst so in the morning we had to clean the toilets! After breakfast we had our first rehearsal of the day then morning tea. Once again another practise then free time until lunch time. Our dress rehearsal was next and this was our last practise before the concert that was going to take place that night. More free time then dinner, this was it, the concert. Everyone started arriving and sitting down. The concert went well and everyone seemed to have a good time. Afterwards all the parents that came to watch came to see their children my Parents and Grandparents came. everyone slept like babies that night! In the morning we all had our breakfast, packed up and then we got to do all the really fun activities like the fun as water slide, the flying fox, archery or slug guns. i went on the water slide it was so fun! Time to go home. We all arrived back at school where our parents were there to meet us. It was a really fun camp!
